Resumen:
We sequenced and analyzed the genome of A. brasilense Az39, the most extensively used strain for inoculants production in Argentina. The genome sequence was obtained using a 454 GS FLX Titanium pyrosequencer. Genome annotation was done using the Standard Operating Procedures for Prokaryotic annotation from ISGA and from RAST annotation server. The putative plant growth promotion and related mechanisms were analyzed in A. brasilense Az39 and compared with other Azospirillum sp. strains previously sequenced.
