Resumen:
In this work results of wind tunnel studies performed over a 1/400 scale model of a high-rise building are presented. This building is higher than 200 m and it is nowadays being built in Brazil. Local mean, maximum, minimum and RMS pressure coefficients are obtained. Some considerations referred to the extreme values approximation are realized. A full depth natural wind simulation was employed in the experiments. Two different mean velocity profiles were used according to the incident wind direction. Aerodynamic details were reproduced in the building model. Fluctuating local pressures in 511 tower points for 24 wind directions were measured and the effects of vicinity were considered.
