Resumen:
Observations from this study lead to conclude that the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (AChR) biosynthesis itself is not perturbed in SL-deprived cells and suggest a "chaperone-like" sphingolipid intervention in AChR trafficking to the cell surface in nonpolarized CHO cell lines.
