Resumen:
Nanomedicine has become a key field of knowledge full of new strategies whose aim to improve current therapies trough nanoscaled tools. Cancer is one of the most challenging diseases that world population is suffering in our time. Poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) in one of the most succesfully used biopolymer in biomedical devices due to its safety profile and biocompatibility. This mini review aim to describe the most relevant proposal involving PLGA-based nanoparticles for solid tumors and metastasis treatment.
