Degradation of a Commercial Herbicide using the Photo-Fenton Process

In this work the mineralization of a commercial herbicide 2,4-D amine was studied using a laboratory reactor (Farias et al., 2007). The employed apparatus was a wellstirred tank photoreactor irradiated from the bottom. It was equipped with a mechanical stirrer, a thermometer and glass coils connected to a thermostatic bath.
