Resumen:
Decomposition rate of S-nitrosocysteine within the pH range 0.7<pH<13 shows first and second order with respect to he cysteine concentration. The second order is only observed for pHs between 6.9 and 12. Both first and second order terms show a similar complex dependence with medium acidity: rate increases with pH reaching a maximum around pH=8 and then reaction rate slow down on increasing pH.
