Resumen:
The phenology of the gonyleptid Pachyloidellus goliath Acosta was studied in Pampa de Achala, province of Córdoba, Argentina. UV-light sampling was hereby used for the first time in Opiliones. It was found that the surface activity period of the adults extends from October to April, decreasing dramatically during winter. Juveniles are detected from April to January, having a peak in October. Observations on general habits, feeding and predators are provided. Some comments on the sampling method, comparing it with pitfall trapping and rock rolling, are also given. With the available data, the probable life cycle of the species is hypothesized.
