Nueva especie de Orobothriurus (Scorpiones, Bothriuridae) del Santuario Nacional del Ampay, Perú.

Resumen:
A new species of Orobothriurus (Scorpiones: Bothriuridae) from Santuario Nacional Ampay, Apurímac, Perú. Rev. per. Ent. 43.- Orobothriurus ampay sp. n., from the Peruvian Andes, known only from the Podocarpus forest in the Santuario Nacional Ampay, Apurímac, at 3100-3580 m, is described herein. Differs from other species of the alticola group - subgroup B (to which it belongs) by its more extended pigmentation, the morphology of the hemispermatophore (frontal crest less extended, with an undulated internal border), and by the absence of prolateral apophysis on the male chela (a feature previously known only for O. wawita Acosta & Ochoa, 2000).
