Many obsevational results gathered during the last decadeshave shown the existence of massive dark matter halos that surroundthe baryonic (i.e. stellar and gaseous) components of disk galaxies.Using their meassured scalelenghts and rotational velocities,we estimate the mass of these dark matter halos for a compilation of different observational samples of disk galaxies.
