Resumen:
Scanning hysteresis loop provide information about the correlation of the pore network with regards to connectivity and pore size distribution, which cannot be revealed from the complete isotherm. To analyze this effect for ordered mesoporous materials such as SBA-15 and SBA-15 modified with iron and cobalt oxides, it was performed the N2 and Ar adsorption-desorption isotherms and the corresponding scanning of the hysteresis loops. Two mathematical models based on the independent domains theory, Uncorrelated Model and Partial Correlated Model, were applied to adjust the desorption branches in the hysteresis loops associating these results to the connectivity in the porous network and the presence of pore blocking effects.
