Resumen:
The aim of this work was to prepare and study MeA monoliths through tbe chemical
activation of coconut shell witb zinc chloride, witbout tbe use of any binder. The structures
were characterized by nitrogen adsorption al 77K, scanning electron microscopy and
benzene immersion calorirnetry. Finally, the monolitbs were tested by adsorption of phenol
in an aqueous solution.
