Resumen:
An on-linepreconcentrationprocedureusingsolidphaseextraction(SPE)forthedeterminationofcopperin differentwatersamplesbyinductivelycoupledplasmaopticalemissionspectrometry(ICP-OES)isproposed. Thecopperwasretainedonaminicolumnfilledwithethylvinylacetate(EVA)atpH8.0withoutusing anycomplexingreagent.Theexperimentaloptimizationstepwasperformedusingatwo-levelfullfactorial design.TheresultsshowedthatpH,sampleloadingflowrate,andtheirinteraction(atthetestedlevels) werestatisticallysignificant.Inordertodeterminethebestconditionsforpreconcentrationanddetermination ofcopper,afinaloptimizationofthesignificantfactorswascarriedoutusingacentralcomposite design(CCD).Thecalibrationgraphwaslinearwitharegressioncoefficientof0.995atlevelsnear thedetectionlimituptoatleast300gL−1. Anenrichmentfactor(EF)of54withapreconcentrationtime of187.5swasobtained.Thelimitofdetection(3) was0.26gL−1. Thesamplingfrequencyforthedeveloped methodologywasabout15samples/h.Therelativestandarddeviation(RSD)forsixreplicatescontaining 50gL−1 of copperwas3.76%.Themethodologywassuccessfullyappliedtothedeterminationof Cuintap,mineral,riverwatersamples,andinacertifiedVKIstandardreferencematerial.
