Resumen:
In the year 2000, a provincial health insurance for the population without health coveragewas implemented in the city of Bahia Blanca. We analysed the access conditions to healthcare these people had during the period 2004 to 2009. We studied the health care hours percapita, indicator that showed high variability throughout that period. However, the supply ofhealth care hours was greater than their demand. This shows that insurance beneficiaries donot have restrictions on access.
