Resumen:
This contribution is part of a major biogeographic study in progress that involves terrestrial vertebrates of the lapse Late Cretaceous-Early Paleogene from South America and Antarctica. This review involves biogeographic reconstruction, which draws upon geological and geophysical data, plate tectonic reconstructions, cladistic biogeography, and the evaluation of stratigraphically calibrated phylogenetic analyses to document ghost lineages of select taxa.
