Resumen:
Mesoporous Ti-containing materials have been synthesized with different degree of loadings and compared with pure siliceous MCM-41 prepared at the same conditions. Structural regularity was determined by XRD and highly ordered structures could be obtained. UV-vis DR confirmed that the titanium was mainly tetrahedrally coordinated into the mesoporous framework. At high amount of Ti the regular mesoporous long-range order decreases, however, separate anatase phase was not observed for any sample. The catalysts were tested in the cyclohexene epoxidation using hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.
