Resumen:
The perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) is able to release growth factors and adipokines to produce action on the arterial wall. Type 2 diabetes can affect PVAT causing abnormal fat cells and infiltration of inflammatory cells, that produce an imbalance between PVAT derived factors. We set out to study the effect of PVAT secretomes obtained from C57BL / 6 mice (WT), Apolipoprotein E deficient- mice (ApoE-KO) and fructose- fed ApoE-KO mice on cultured vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC). Secretomes were obtained 400 mg of aortas adipose tissue in 1 ml of DMEM / F-12 at 37 ° C for 4 hours. Treatment with ApoE -KO PVAT secretomes showed a significant increase in proliferation compared to WT-PVAT secretomes (P
