The Tapiete team has conducted two fieldworks in 2002. On July 2002, both anthropologist Silvia Hirsh and linguist Hebe Gonzalez went to Misión Tapiete (province of Salta, Argentina) to start the project. This trip was mainly devoted to introduce Dr. Hirsh to the community and coordinate the anthropological and linguistic work.
