Abstract:
Water-distilled essential oil of Helenium argentinum was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Twenty-nine components were characterized representing 94.4% of the total components detected. Geranyl acetate (78.5%) and geraniol (4.4%) were identified as the major constituents.
