Resumen:
Abstract The aim of this work was to determine the symbiotic effectiveness of native peanut rhizobia from Cordoba. In this study we found that the slow growing group is more efficient that the fast growing one, mainly in the symbiotic parameters. On the other hand, the number of fast growers isolated from field peanut nodules was higher than the number of slow growers. Taking into account these data and that we determined that the fast growing population is more tolerant to adverse conditions, it is possible to infer that, under field conditions, this group is outcompeting the more efficient slow growing group.
