Resumen:
Genetic diversity of one llama population from Argentina were analysed by random polymorphic DNA (RAPD). Forty RAPD primers were assayed being 6 polymorphic, and the informativeness for each one was calculated as similarity index. It is proposed the use of these RAPD markers to identify individuals and test genetic diversity among llama populations.
