The study of the quality of life of the population depends certainly on the scale of analysis. The parties (municipalities) may be insufficient to assess the magnitude of the actual differences.Therefore, we believe that the census fractions, allow us to better gauge the inequality in each of the dimensions that make up the Quality of Life Index within the Greater Buenos Aires. The dimensions considered to be the ICV services, housing, environment, education and economy.Certain parties are characterized by low variability present in the different dimensions in the ICV, and to concentrate the majority of their homes above the median GBA, while in others it is exactly the opposite situation. Other parties present as salient feature the significant gap between the values of the indices within the party itself. These differences illustrate the magnitude of theprocess of urban socio-spatial differentiation in Greater Buenos Aires.
