Resumen:
Today, biocompatible hydrogels are being extensively used in several biomedicalapplications. Noteworthy is the selection of biomaterial implies interdisciplinaryhard work. From the point of view of the material chemical, there are several knownstrategies to design materials with 2D, 3D, or nano structures, and to adapt themwith the desired properties for a well-developed tissue. From the cell biology pointof view, it is important to achieve the adaptation and develop tissue, and at the sametime, an acceptable immunology response to the material is expected. It is veryimportant to take into account that each cell line can respond differently to the samebiocompatible material, so the cell-material behavior is not predictable. Therefore, this is a research area that is booming and continually developing inorder to contribute positively to nano and biomedicine to address key challenges inhealthcare.
