Resumen:
Emilio Crenzel CONICET/UBA ecrenzel@retina.ar Argentina Since the reinstatement of democracy on 10 December 1983, Argentina has stood out in Latin America?s Southern Cone for implementing a number of transitional justice mechanisms to address human rights violations committed in the 1970s as political violence and military dictatorships swept through the region. Since then, these abuses have been featured prominently in the country?s political agendas and public debates.
