La Comisión Nacional sobre la Desaparición de Personas en Argentina. ¿Sólo una comisión oficial de notables? Resumen Este artículo analiza la investigación de la Comisión Nacional sobre la Desaparición de Personas (CONADEP) creada en Argentina en 1983 por el presidente constitucional Raúl Alfonsín para investigar la desaparición forzada de personas. Propone que el éxito de la investigación de la CONADEP fue producto de una alianza tácita entre la mayoría del movimiento de derechos humanos y el gobierno de Alfonsín. Así, el artículo postula una interpretación diferente a la dominante hasta ahora sobre la naturaleza y el éxito de la CONADEP, caracterizada exclusivamente en los trabajos sobre este tema como una comisión oficial de personalidades notables. The National Commission on Disappeared People in Argentina ¿Only an official Commission of personalities? Summary           This paper analyzes the research of the National Commission on Disappeared People (CONADEP) created in Argentina in 1983 by the constitutional president Raúl Alfonsín to investigate the persons´ forced disappearance. The paper proposes that the success of the research of the CONADEP was a product of a tacit alliance between the majority of the Human Right movement and the government of Alfonsín. In this way, the article proposes a different interpretation from the dominant one till now about the nature and the success of the CONADEP, characterized exclusively in the works on this topic as an official commission of notable personalities.
