Resumen:
A one dimensional electron gas, interacting via the effective potencial of Hu and Das Sarma, is considered. We apply quantum Monte Carlo method, with Jastrow factor determined by using RPA, in order to calculate the ground state energy per particle as a function of the Wiegner-Seitz parameter.
