AbstractA vacuum, globally hyperbolic, asymptotically flat spacetime containing no horizons is called a classical graviton.We present the field equations for the classical graviton in terms of the free data given at past null infinity.The field equations are given in terms of a non-local variable that contains the information of the spacetime points as well as the conformal structure of the spacetime.If one promotes the free data to quantum operators at null infinity one gives a quantization procedure to the non local variable.The ?quantum points? defined by this procedure do not commute.
