AbstractA vacuum, globally hyperbolic, asymptotically flat spacetime containing no horizons is called a classical graviton.We present the field equations for the classical graviton in terms of the free data given at past null infinity.The field equations are given in terms of a non-local variable that contains the information of the spacetime points as well as the conformal structure of the spacetime.If one promotes the free data to quantum operators at null infinity one gives a quantization procedure to the non local variable.The ?quantum points? defined by this procedure do not commute.
