Resumen:
Graphene is the first two-dimensional material isolated in the lab. Among its many extraordinary properties, its peculiar Landau level structure which allows for the observation of the quantum Hall effect even at room temperature is one of the most prominent ones. In spite of the enormous advance in the synthesis of graphene, some particular defects prove to be ubiquitous. This is the case of line-defects which emerge naturally in polycrystalline samples [1] but which can also be engineered [2]. Here we report on the conductance of graphene in presence of a single line defect in the quantum Hall regime [3]. By using atomistic models we examine the modifications introduced by these defects in the local and non local electrical response. Our results may serve as a building block for the understanding of more complex samples. [1] A. W. Cummings, Dinh L. Duong, V. L. Nguyen, D. Van Tuan, J. Kotakoski, J. E. Barrios Vargas, Y.
