Resumen:
In this work we study a kind of aperiodic arrays ofnanoparticles (NPs) forms by two opposed and equalgraded-chains of NPS which concentrates the externalelectromagnetic fields even in the cuasistatic limit. Thephenomenon was understood by interpreting the system asan effective cavity where plasmonics excitations are trappedbetween effective band edges, consequence of the changeof passband with NP's position. Dependence of excitationconcentration with several system's parameter was alsoassessed. Including, different models for distance changing, the degree of changing of distances with position, as well asNP's couplings, damping, and resonant frequencies. In thespirit of the law of corresponding states, we developed atheory that allows one to rationalize all these system'sparameters into universal curves. The theory is quite generaland can also be used on many other situations. Our resultscan find applications on sensing, near field imaging,plasmon-enhanced photodetectors, as well as for increasingsolar cell efficiency.
