Resumen:
During the eruptions of Cordon Caulle fissure (Puyehue-
Cordon Caulle region) occurred in June 4th (2011), ashes
were launched more than 6 miles (10 km) into the atmosphere.
Strong winds heading east pushed millons tons of ashes, sand
and pumice from de volcanic complex toward the Patgonian
region. In order to analyze the transference of volcanic elements
from ashes to biota, a multielemental analysis was performed
in Northern Patagonia´s exposed plants as well as their
fruit and seeds. The plants were collected between the years
2009, 2011 and 2012 allowing us to compare elemental composition
before and after volcanic eruption
