Resumen:
The concept of gravitational radiation and its relation to the motion ofthe sources that produce them cannot be properly addressed if one relays ina coordinate description. We present here the notion of an asymptoticallyflat spacetime as the adequate mathematical framework where physical variableslike Mass, Momentum, Angular Momentum and gravitational radiationare defined and its dynamical evolution is given. Further insights intothe dynamical evolution of the sources is provided by defining the notion ofCenter ofMass and Intrinsic Angular Momentum together with its equationsof motion that are coupled with the corresponding emitted radiation.
