Resumen:
The third edition of the ?Congreso Argentino de Electrónica? CAE, is taking place fully online together with the sixteenth edition of the school of Micro-Nanoelectronics, Technology and Applications (EAMTA). CAE arises as the continuation and expansion of the Conference on Micro-Nanoelectronics, Technology and Applications (CAMTA), and aims at providing a national quality forum for a wide range of topics in the field of electronics.Twelve (12) regular papers and four (4) invited papers were accepted to be presented at the conference and afterwards be published in IEEE Xplore. Paper topics include circuit testing, RF and optical circuits and receivers, sensors, radars, digital integrated circuits (IC), convolutional/neural networks and neural computation IC, low power and analog IC, modelling, CCD and CMOS imager design and characterization, flexible electronics, image processing, power electronics, wireless communications, and FPGA implementations. CAE is also hosting a Student and PhD forum where one poster will be presented during the conference, encouraging young researchers to present their work. We want to specially thank all reviewers for their hard work in providing useful feedback to improve the papers, as they are the key to maintain the technical quality of the proceedings. The Technical Program is also very diverse and rich. During the event, several lectures will be delivered by experts from Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, Colombia, USA and Belgium. Industry day will count with known Semiconductor, Design and EDA companies from around the world, plus representatives of investment funds and important national electronic companies. One of the targets of the event is to help establish a technological platform in the country, and in doing this, we continue emphasizing the central role of students. One hundred and thirty five (135) participants have registered for the event so far. This year, four course tracks will be offered during EAMTA. The basic track will cover basic topics on analog circuits, digital circuits, tools, device physics and design laboratories with EDA tools. An additional analog course will provide hands-on design of CMOS amplifiers. The basic digital track (11 attendees) will cover digital techniques and entry-level knowledge of digital design flow and industrial tools & techniques for digital synthesis on FPGA. Finally, there will be a track that focuses on IC design for implantable applications. We hope you enjoy the event and wish you an enriching experience, while you stay safe at home. We look forward to seeing you in person in the next edition.
