The Encyclopedia of Global Archaeolgy is a world-wide text that covers all key aspects of archaeology. It has been edited by C. Domingo, D. Fiore and J. McDonald) includes 54 entries (articles) that cover all aspects of this line of research, including: theoretical frameworks, key concepts, current fieldwork and laboratory methods, heritage and conservation issues, main types of evidence (rock art, portable art, geoglyphs, etc.), case studies of global relevance (e.g. sites declared as Universal Heritage by UNESCO), main periods and regional archaeological sequences (e.g. Paleolithic art, North American art, South American art, etc.), and biographies of the main authors that have contributed to the development of this particular research topic.
