Resumen:
Galaxies present a bimodality when are separated by star formation rate or color, and can be broadly classffied as "star-forming" (SF) or "passive". We study the evolution of passive galaxies by combining the semi-analytic model of galaxy formation and evolution Semi-Analytic Galaxies (SAG) with the dark matter MultiDark simulation MDPL2. The analysis is focused on redshifts z = 0, 0.49 and 1.032. We find the SAG model to correctly reproduce the characteristic critical stellar mass which separates the regimes of galaxies which are predominantly passive from that of those predominantly SF. We note a lack of passive central galaxies at intermediate stellar mass (9:8 < log(Mstar/Msun) < 10.7) for z < 1. The model also predicts an excess of high-mass galaxies established for z < 0.5. These results indicate that the relative prevail between AGN and supernovae feedback is not accurately captured by the current state of the model.
