Resumen:
Clarifying and stabilising process is not only complicate but also expensive. As alternatives, membrane technology such as microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) has a great attention for those process present many advantages, in general, separation occurs at room temperature, high selectivity based on unique separation mechanisms, and elimination of additives to aid the separation. Unfortunately, a disadvantage this process is the rapid reduction of permeate flux by fouling of the membrane. The aim of this work was to evaluate the efficiency of Microfiltration membrane, prepared in our laboratory, on lemon juice clarification.
