Resumen:
Four tailor-madeflatcompositemembranesofpoly(vinylideneflouride)(PVDF)asasupportandpolydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)orcelluloseacetate(CA)ascoatinglayer,andacommerciallyavailablecompositemembrane(Solsep030306)wereusedtoremovehexaneandfreefattyacid(FFA)fromcrudesoybeanoil–hexanemixture.Theeffectsoftransmembranepressure(Dp¼10–20 bar),temperature(T¼30–50 1C) andfeedoilconcentration(Cf¼10–35w/w%)onmembraneselectivityandpermeationflux weredetermined.ThePVDF-12%siloxanecompositenanofiltrationmembraneachievedthebestresults,beingstableincommercialhexaneandhavingpromisingpermselectivitypropertiestoseparatesoybeanoil/hexanemiscella.Improvedseparationperformancewasobtainedat Cf¼25%, Dp¼20 bar,and T¼30 1C, achievingapermeatefluxof20.3Lm2 h1, 80%oilretention,58%FFAremoval.
