Resumen:
The presentation includes different research lines related with the development of materials for different applications, such as: Hydrogen production, Hydrogen storage, hydrogen purification, CO2 capture and CO2 reuse. All these applications are part of a global process that involves hydrogen as an energy vector. Hydrogen is produced from biomass using renewable resources (sun, wind). After this step, hydrogen can be stored in solid state metal hydrides, while the sun or the wind are available. In this way, hydrogen could be used in the future when exist the demand to produce energy for example in a fuel cell. On the other hand, the CO2 obtained simultaneously with hydrogen, can be captured and used with hydrogen to produce precursors for the chemical industry.
