Resumen:
This paper is about the taphonomic action of foxes in Puna rockshelters1.  The archaeological record from caves and rockshelters in general has played a very important role in the archaeology of the Argentine Puna (see Elkin et al. 1991 for a synthesis). The research reported here has been aimed at learning about the formation processes of these deposits.
