Resumen:
In this work the effect of the presence of lanthanum into In-HZSM5 catalysts was studied. The zeolitic matrix stabilization by the addition of lanthanum has been studied by several researchers, mainly into Y zeolite for petrochemical purposes. We reported that the presence of La on cobalt exchanged mordenite prevents the deactivation of the zeolite. In this vain, we also exchanged La into Induim/mordenite catalysts and we concluded that La also protects the structure from the dealuminization, but it modifies the environment of the InO+ active sites which affect the activity of the catalyst. In order to gain further insights into the stabilization capacity of lanthanum we proposed the exchange of this lanthanide into In-HZSM-5. The results conduced to speculate that the interaction of lanthanum on the HZSM5 matrix is high and its presence into the InHZSM5 solid does not have an effect on the activity and stability of InLaHZSM5.
