Resumen:
Zeolite films coated onto multi-channel honeycomb monolith have the advantage of a low pressure drop and high geometric surface area with a sufficient gas  flowcatalyst contact compared to the packed catalyst bed reactor. Cordierite is the typical material to produce ceramic monolith due to its high hydrothermal stability and plasticity. On the other hand, mordenite (MOR) coatings onto structured cordierite obtained by in situ hydrothermal synthesis result in a well- crystallized layer with a good adherence. The aim of this work is to study the distribution of the different components and the accessibility of the active site (Co) in the mordenite layer obtained via secondary (seeded) hydrothermal synthesis onto cordierite honeycomb monolith and then exchanged with Co2+.
