Resumen:
The purpose of the RIOCCADAPT report is to assess the climate change adaptation actions being carried out in the member countries of the Red Iberoamericana de Oficinas de Cambio Climático (Ibero-American Network of Climate Change Offices or RIOCC), i.e., Spanish- and Portuguese-speakingcountries in the Americas, the Caribbean, and the Iberian Peninsula. The adaptation analysis has focused on some of the main sectors and systems that are relevant to RIOCC countries, and includes the more important extreme weather and climate risks and key sectors such as urban settlements andcoastal areas. Each chapter includes several case studies whose experiences provide useful conclusions for adaptation. To contextualize adaptation actions, the report also includes an analysis of vulnerabilities, as well as of climate change risk and impacts.
