Resumen:
It is usually agreed that the Platonic model of maturity associated the good with the beautiful, but last Plato´s position on this regard has been rarely studied. This work shows the peculiar way in which both concepts are closely related in the treatment that Plato's gives to the laws in his last dialogue through the political task of the novel figure of the legislature, primarily in the commercial code of Laws.
