The recent emergence of the periodic mesoporous materials becomes an active area ofresearch because their exciting potential applications in catalysis, separation, drug delivery,nanocomposites and confinement of electronic materials. Functional groups can increase theadsorption performance of mesoporous materials [1]. Many of the current chemotherapeuticdrugs cause severe toxicity to the body when administered at high systemic doses, then, thestudy of functionalized mesoporous materials for adsorption and release of different drugmolecules is a very promise task to address this problem.
