Resumen:
    The present work analyzes the process of detection of small diffusive inclusions in turbid hosts. Experiments were carried out using a transil-lumination geometry and Continuous Wave laser radiation, considering cylindrical inclusions in different enviroments. A comparison between experimental data, theoretical approaches for the Radiative Transfer Equation in the Diffusion Approximation, and numerical Monte Carlo simulations, is presented.
