Magnetic relaxation and surface effects in magnetic single-domains

In this talk I will introduce some basic considerations on the relaxation of the magnetic moment of single-domain nanoparticles leading to the superparamagnetic and blocked regimes in the magnetization. Particularly, I will emphasize the surface effects on the internal magnetic order of the single-domain and the interparticle interaction effects on the surface magnetic order.
