Resumen:
This paper presents a control method
for permanent magnet (PM) motors based on a non
linear fullorder observer working in combination
with a signal injection scheme. This allows an
extended sensorless operating range down to zero
speed, using only one voltage and one current sensor
in the DC-Link for further cost reduction. In order
for the signal injection scheme to work properly,
some asymmetry must be present in the motors dd
and q axis inductances. Such asymmetry is also
taken into account in the motor model used to
construct the observer. The performance of the
proposed scheme is shown by computer simulation.
