Resumen:
The AIM of this work has been to assess smell perception in subjects affected by seasonal depression (SD), on the basis that olfactory denervation unmasks photoperiodic responses in non-photocyclic animals. DISCUSSION: our findings agree with previous evidence indicating lateralization of brain disfunction in SD and suggest that olfaction may be related to seasonal emotional rhythms in humans.
