In this talk I present an overview about the general characteristics that a lizard hand should exhibit to indicate that it is capable of a power grasping in the sense of Napier (1956). I include a comparison with the hand of frogs and primates as a way to ask for general characteristics in the tetrapod hand that could indicate grasping abilities.
