On the Development of Fibre-Reinforced Self-Compacting Concrete

This paper discusses the development of steel fibre reinforced self-compacting concrete with possible applications in thin-walled elements and repair. The mix design procedure, testing and two specific applications are discussed. The results show that self-compactability can be obtained even with the incorporation of up to 40 kg/m3 of steel fibres.
