Resumen:
Not without early traces of kantian schematism, the benjaminian thought of images in terms of an articulation between the written and the image, or between the philosophy of language and the philosophy of image, lies at very core of a theory of experience which extends from the early benjaminian notion of allegory up to the late theory of dialectical images. Yet this articulation between word and image will be opposed in Benjamin both against the representational perspective of modern philosophy and against the intentional perspective of the phenomenological tradition. Indeed the Benjaminian non-representational drive is in debt to a theological hidden tradition out of which the whole idea of the creaturely and the historical is settled through messianic redemptive terms. In this contribution we will refer to the early theory of allegory and to the later theory of dialectical images as pillars of a non representational idea of images, that underlies the whole benjaminian theory of experience.
