Resumen:
In this work we used the 7Li MAS NMR, X-ray and TEM techniques to study the structural changes that occur in the Sn/Si/graphite anodes, during the third cycle of electrochemical charge-discharge of a lithium-ion battery. Complementary to these studies and not only to get a better understanding about the results, but also validate the assignations done, DFT calculations of the full discharged and charged states of electrodes prepared with Sn-Si-μG were performed. The NMR technique is useful to study of the anode during the charge-discharge process. The lithium nuclei ( 7Li and 6Li) are used as probes due to the fact that the Li+ions are directly involved in the electrochemical processes occurring in a lithium-ion battery. This method allows to determine which is the species removed during the charge process and how the local structure changes over the extended charge cycle
